PIEROGI FOR THE SENSES: Cooking Class with Chef Shane Chartrand (Valentine’s Day Edition)
Young Polish-Canadian professionals and friends are invited to participate in an interactive demonstration by Chef Shane Chartrand, followed by a romantic pierogi meal prepared by participants!
The cooking night tempts the five senses and features a class meant for sharing and mingling. Enjoy a celebratory welcome drink and take home the recipe!

Location: Byward Market (the event will be held in a private art gallery- the location of the art gallery will be sent to guests upon registration!)
Cost: $30 includes a welcome drink, interactive class and pierogi dinner

Three kinds of pierogi:
– Pierogi with aged cheddar and chive
– Pierogi with bigos (kielbasa, caraway and sauerkraut)
– Pierogi with carmelized onion and bacon
ABOUT THE CHEF:
Shane Chartrand has been in the hospitality industry for 11+ years and obtained mass experience and knowledge in the food service industry. Some of the restaurants he worked for were Club Red Lounge, Wildwood Steak and Chophouse, The Blue Lion Inn and more. He also had the privilege to be a contestant on Chopped Canada, in which he was a runner-up, placing second. Shane brings his experience and knowledge to cooking up some of the most innovative dishes.
