Martin Grzadka is a Financial Advisor with over fourteen years of experience in Personal Wealth Management. Working together with his client’s lawyers and accountants he coordinates advanced strategies for medical professionals and professional corporations in the areas of investment management, tax and estate planning. He is a sought after speaker and educator across the Greater Toronto Area as well as a recipient of numerous awards for business development and high achievement. Martin earned his B.A in Economics and Finance from the University of Waterloo.
In 2009 Martin co-founded YPCPA a non-for profit organization dedicated to serving young Polish-Canadian Professionals. He held the title of President from 2009 to 2012 and currently is the Chairman of the Association. In his youth Martin was an active member of the Scouting Association and various other community groups. In 2000-2004 Martin was appointed Director of the Karpaty Scout Lodge in Kaszuby, Canada. While in university, he was a founding member of the Entrepreneurs Association of UW (EAUW). In 2011 Martin Co-chaired the International Young Polonia Leaders Conference “Quo Vadis 3” which took place in Toronto Canada with over 200 delegates from 17 countries. He is also a co-founding member of the International Quo Vadis Conference Chairman Club.
Other accomplishments: School for Leaders (SLP) (delegate in 2009, co-organizer in 2010, speaker in 2011), Poland in the Rockies, Pangea Conferences, Quo Vadis I in Ottawa as delegate, Quo Vadis II in Windsor as co-organizer, Quo Vadis 2012 in Calgary and Chicago as honorary advisor. Martin speaks five languages and posses an entrepreneurial drive.
Monika Wilk graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Economics and a specialization in Finance. She started her financial career at TD Canada Trust where she further developed her financial planning skills and expertise. With a strong passion for entrepreneurship, Monika successfully moved on to running her own practice with Investors Group Financial Services in 2004. As an Executive Financial Advisor, Monika and her team are leaders in the field of high net worth advising, they deliver an unparalleled focus in the areas of investment management and unique tax and estate planning strategies for medical/dental professionals, high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and their families.
Monika is an active member of Young Canadians in Finance, has co-founded the Young Polish Canadian Professionals Association, and has completed the School for Leaders program in Europe (SLP). In 2011 Monika was successfully responsible for corporate sponsorship for Quo Vadis 3 International Leaders Conference, and continues her community work by holding a position as a board member with YPCPA. Monika Wilk and her family reside in Burlington, On.
Dr. Goralski received his dental degree from the University of Western Ontario. He went on to graduate training at the University of Michigan before moving to Seattle, WA to practice general dentistry. After four years of private practice, he moved to New York City for residency training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Med & Dent in NJ, where he earned both a Certificate of Specialy in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Science degree.
Dr. Goralski is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, a member of the local and provincial dental associations, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the current President of the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has two young sons and lives full time in Barrie, ON.
Marek Drywa joined Calgary Economic Development (CED) in 2010 as the Manager of Inter-American Development Bank Programs and in April 2011 was appointed to head the Global Business Centre within the Trade and Investment department of CED.
Marek brings over ten years of international experience through work with high profile organizations and clients in business development, marketing and government relations for private, public and non-profit sectors. Prior to assuming his responsibilities at CED, he was in charge of international relations and economic development for the former Mayor of Calgary, Dave Bronconnier.
Before relocating to Canada in 2005, Marek was the Managing Director of the British Consulting Company in Poland and Central Europe where he worked primary with small and medium sized companies as well as local municipalities on market expansion and investment attraction.
In his role at the Global Business Centre, Marek is focused on advancing trade development programming through the provision of export training and consulting for SMEs, servicing incoming trade delegations, supporting the launch of outgoing trade missions and acquiring new business development opportunities for the Centre. He also takes responsibility for the overall operations of the facility including rentals and temporary office space for companies locating in Calgary.
Marek holds a Master’s degree of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, USA and a second Master’s degree in Economics (Marketing and International Trade) from the University of Gdansk, Poland. In addition to being fluent in both English and Polish, Marek has a working knowledge German, and basic level of Russian.
